We specify and design commercial audio sound systems. Our in-house design team have many years of experience in delivering audio specification and design services for wide a range of commercial customers from end user clients to consulting engineers and through design & build contractor partnerships.
We offer a full specification and audio design service that includes every aspect of planning for commercial audio delivery. We work to the highest standards and regulations, specifying audio products and equipment to best fit the project design specification, as well as budget.
Audio Specification
All new audio projects (small or large) are evaluated and considered individually, all are unique with specific functional & capability requirements as well as practical & installation considerations. To help us create an audio specification, we engage with our clients to provide advice and guidance and to better understand their functional requirements. For many projects, we will also conduct a site survey, consult and discuss the technical and practical issues, limitations and challenges. This may include engaging with technical support & design authorities, project managers, architects and consulting engineers.

Audio Design
The audio specification details will largely determine most aspects of the proposed audio design. Our design team will consider all of these elements, starting with the required audio applications and functional capabilities (including access, control and system management).
The available audio technology options and decisions will provide the baseline configuration for the design, including audio distribution. Can we consider traditional analogue audio AND AoIP / IP audio? Are there any elements that dictate we ‘must’ use either technology or perhaps can only be delivered by one option?
AoIP & Traditional analogue Audio
AoIP IP audio is transformative to the design and delivery of commercial audio sound systems. Simply put, AoIP can provide additional function and capability this is not possible with analogue audio. Does that mean AoIP is a best fit audio technology option for all commercial audio designs? No, it doesn’t…. The traditional audio market is huge, with 100’s of manufacturers offering quality audio processing & amplification as well as a vast selection of speaker choices and designs. AoIP is a relatively new audio technology with limited (but growing) manufacturer base and product availability.
