IP Audio Encoders
IP Audio ‘Encoders’ are devices used to connect traditional audio source device products to an IP network. Examples such as a CD player, MP3 player, audio-out of a mixer or traditional music system can be connected to the LAN / IP network. Once connected, the IP audio encoder can be configured to stream audio to one or many IP audio endpoints (eg. IP audio decoders and IP speakers).
What do IP Audio Encoders offer?
- Stream traditional audio source to IP endpoints / IP speakers
- Partner with IP decoder/s to create routed audio links (eg. between sites or different buildings)
- Simplified audio routing and audio zone configuration
- Enhanced commercial audio topologies with reduced cabling demands
